XLC Road Bike Brake / Blocks / Pads & Holder – BS-R06
This brake shoe for racing bikes convinces by its ultra-light, elegant Cartridge construction, anodised in elegant red and allows the sole changing of the brake lining. The aluminium brake lining bearing can be further used. The adjusting and fastening parts, as well as the Cartridge bearing contained in the scope of delivery are delicately wrought and finished and facilitate an exactly fitting installing of the brake shoe.
Cartridge Brake shoes:
Cartridge brake shoes are called two-piece brake shoes, where its possible to change the brake pads after abrasion. The advantage over usual brake pads is that only the brake pads has to be changed as wear parts, and the brake shoes do not have to be readjusted. Only the brake cable tension might have to be reduced if the old pad was already thin because of the wear.
CNC Milling :
CNC is an accurate, computer-controlled milling process (Computerized Numerical Control) and allows the manufacturing of complex and elaborate work pieces from a block. The manufacturing tolerances are thereby reduced to a minimum.
Lightweight

Road-brake are rim brakes, which are attached to the fork bridge and frame rear end and are operated via a side-lead cable. Some of our levers are particularly suitable for assembly in combination with road brakes.
